The Sanctuary comes most alive through the people who fill it. Over the years I’ve gathered a circle of practitioners, healers, teachers, and makers whose work I know and trust, the kind I’d welcome into my own gatherings. If you’re renting the space and want to weave in something special, perhaps breathwork, a cacao ceremony, sound healing, massage, nourishing food, Colorado adventures…these are the collaborators I’d point you toward, many of them run their own events through the Soul Medicine Sanctuary. You’ll arrange and pay each of them directly; I simply make the introduction. And if you’re hoping for something you don’t see here, just ask — my circle runs wide and deep.

At heart, I’m an integrationist, working in the spaces between worlds. My path began in embodied spirituality with yoga, meditation, massage, dance and other somatic practices, all while also working in the corporate world as a Human Resources Director and, later, a consultant. Eventually I left corporate world to earn my masters in somatic psychotherapy and dance/movement therapy at Naropa. For years I understood everything I met in that work as trauma. In time, I realized the root of our suffering was much deeper. Just about every trauma humans experience is some form of disconnection — from our family, our history, our community, the planet, ourselves — and that disconnection for humans is trauma. That realization is the root of this Sanctuary, and of my life’s focus on the work of reconnection.
Now, at sixty-one, I bring these threads together as an elder. These fields of psychotherapy and somatics, meditation and mindfulness, authentic relating and physical contact, buddhism and neoshamanism, ceremony and ritual, spiritual depth and embodied movement — all woven into one practice of presence and attendance. Whether I’m holding medicine work, serving as a spiritual doula, designing a retreat, all of it arrives in service of the people in the room. I’ve been walking this path since my early twenties — long enough that it’s less something I do than something I am. When my calendar allows, I’d be honored to bring what I have to offer to your gathering.

I’m a ceremonialist, Master Nutrition Therapist, Nutrition Chef, and Reiki healer, board-certified in holistic nutrition — a blend of healer, chef, and guide. I bridge science and soul, weaving evidence-based nutrition with ancestral wisdom to help people find their way back to themselves through intentional ceremony, integrative wellness, and food prepared with purpose and reverence.
Through cacao ceremonies, nutrition consulting, wellness retreats, and workshops, I create compassionate spaces to cultivate self-awareness, restore balance, and honor life’s transitions with intention and community. For me, the quality of every ingredient — and the care behind its preparation — is what makes a meal truly restorative. I live and work between my two heart communities: Boulder County, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Sabrina’s experience of Selina: “Selina is a rare fusion of healer, chef, and guide. She came to me through a dear friend, and I loved her open, giving heart at once. She graciously served our photo-shoot experiential evening, and it was really sweet to watch how much joy she takes in caring for others. Her attention to detail is exquisite and everything she made was scrumptious — and as someone on a complicated FODMAP diet, I was so touched that nothing she prepared was ever a risk for me. That is the care she brings.”
