An Intimate Gathering with David Kessem

Some songs are written for listening. David’s are written to be lived inside. They reach into the unnamed longing that aches to be heard: songs of love and the sacred, felt deeply enough to bring you home to yourself.
David writes and sings music to connect with something bigger and wiser than his worries about the overwhelming world. He is often surprised to find laughter, wisdom, and peace in the songs, literally at his fingertips. The music is medicine.
“
“I’ve had the pleasure of basking in David’s music in larger gatherings and in the intimacy of a living room. His songs often move me to tears and always soften whatever I walked in carrying. If you’ve never sat in one of his song circles, you will be touched, and you will likely leave humming.”

So bring yourself as you are, the messy, wounded parts and the tender, hopeful ones, and let the music help you settle more deeply into yourself. Close your eyes, dive in, and sing along when the chorus calls. Feel free to exhale and soften. Feel free to say “Yes” to your senses. Somewhere in the evening, between listening and singing, connection happens. You may feel seen, more at home in yourself, and be reminded that even during crazy times, there is still plenty of goodness in the world, plenty of goodness right where you are.
