Loging for Festivals, Trainings & Retreats

A restful place to stay, minutes from Boulder and the festivals, retreats, and gatherings of the Front Range

Invitation

If you’re traveling in for a festival, a retreat, or a workshop, reach out. When there’s an event you’re coming for, I may be able to hold the space open for it while it’s on, with a minimum booking — it’s worth an ask.

And if you’re the one holding the event, with people coming from out of town, this may be exactly what you need. You can reserve the Sanctuary for your attendees: a calm, cared-for place for your group to stay, rest, and gather, all under one roof and minutes from where you’re meeting. This is where I imagine the space being most loved — as lodging you arrange for the people you’re gathering.

And if you’re heading to a larger event yourself and think the organizers might want lodging for their group, I’d love for you to point them my way, or to reach out on their behalf.

More than a place to sleep

There’s something that happens when a group stays together under one roof. You arrive as fellow attendees and leave as something closer — the kind of connection that outlasts the weekend and, now and then, becomes a friendship for life. The shared Great Room and full kitchen become your own hearth: a place to cook together, unwind after a long day, and be in easy, unhurried company.

Everything here is arranged to make that ease possible. The little things travelers forget are already waiting — from sunscreen to electrolytes — alongside wifi, chargers, and a big screen for slow evenings in. You can arrive light and simply be looked after, so your attention stays where it belongs: on the experience, and on each other.

And you don’t have to rush in or out. Come a night early to settle and land, or stay on afterward to rest and integrate — deep trainings, festivals, and ceremonies deserve a soft place to come down before the drive home.

To go deeper, you can add on care from me and my trusted collaborators — home-cooked meals, grocery and errand support, sound healing, and shamanic journeying, among them — so your group is nourished in body and spirit, not just housed. And for those called to explore Colorado’s regulated natural medicine path, I’m glad to point you toward licensed providers and healing centers.

A home that welcomes you

Our doors open to all: all gender expressions, all sexual orientations, and all faiths and paths that leave room for others. This is a home of many altars and many ways, held in mutual respect — you’ll find symbols of many traditions here, side by side.

A note on shared rooms: Our bunk rooms are open, communal sleeping spaces. This means you may share a room with guests of any gender expression and sleeping habits (including snoring) It’s part of what makes this a come-as-you-are home. If you’d rather choose who you sleep alongside, you have three easy options: book the private queen room, reserve a full bunk room for your own sub group group, so you decide who’s in it, or book the upstairs airbnb room. Booking a single bunk simply means you’re glad to share with whoever else is staying.

A note on snoring: The bunk rooms are cozy and close, which is part of the shared-home magic. It also means sleep sounds carry. There are plenty of ear plugs available for your comfort, but, if you know you’re a champion snorer (no judgment, truly!), the private queen room, great room memory foam sofa bed, or the upstairs airbnb room is the loving and considerate. Choosing your room with everyone’s sleep in mind lets the whole house wake up rested.

How it works: Rent by the room

Festival lodging like this is booked by the room. Bedrooms are reserved individually, while the Great Room, the full kitchen, and the bathrooms are shared among everyone staying. (There’s also a pull-out queen memory-foam sofabed in the Great Room that may itself be someone’s rented bed.) If your party would rather have the entire lower level to yourselves, the whole-space homestay may be the better fit.

The rooms

The downstairs holds three bedrooms plus a bed in the communal space:

  • A private room with a queen bed
  • A room with two twin bunks, sleeping up to four (175 lb / 79 kg limit)
  • A room with two twin-XL bunks, sleeping up to four (300 lb / 136 kg limit)
  • A pull-out memory-foam queen sofabed in the Great Room

Everyone staying shares the Great Room, the full kitchen, and two bathrooms — both with heated bidet seats, one with a shower and laundry. When parties are large, a few guests may be invited to shower upstairs to keep things flowing.

Rates

Booked room by room, per night:

  • A bunk — $60
  • The private queen room — $125 for one guest, $175 for two
  • Queen pull-out in the Great Room — $75 for one, $125 for two

A two-night minimum applies, and festival bookings generally have a five-guest minimum.

Make a trip of it

You’re in one of the most beautiful corners of Colorado — so if you can, linger. Rocky Mountain National Park and the mountain town of Estes Park are about forty-five minutes up the road; Boulder’s Flatirons and foothill trails are twenty. Mountain hot springs, alpine lakes, red-rock canyons, and quiet trailheads are all within a scenic drive. Come a few days early or stay on after your event, and let the land do its own kind of work on you, which is a beautiful way to turn a weekend into a real reset.

Good to know

  • A shared home: the Sanctuary is the lower level of my home. I live upstairs, along with a housemate and often a guest or two. You will come and go through the main door with your own entry code, and pass through a shared foyer. Shoes come off here, where you will find racks; indoor-only shoes are welcome downstairs. From there you head straight down to your space below. Upstairs is my private home and is not part of your stay unless we arrange it together.
  • Caring for the home: the cleaning fee covers sanitizing the space between stays, readying it fresh for whoever comes next. We ask that you leave the home as you found it.
  • Little things for the road: the easy-to-forget things travelers often need are here when you do, from sunscreen to electrolytes, some kept stocked by simple contribution, so you can arrive light and still be looked after.
  • Tailored to your festival: when I know what you are here for, I can ready the space to match. For a yoga festival, for instance, I can have yoga mats on hand. Tell me the event and what would help, and I will see what I can set up.”
  • Technology: wifi throughout, a large television for films and cozy nights, and the everyday things you would want, from phone chargers to a printer.
  • Quiet hours: from 10 at night until 6 in the morning, we ask for a gentle awareness of the sleeping beings in the home above. This does not mean silence, only conscientiousness: softened voices and sound, and a mindfulness that others are resting close by.
  • Support during festivals and off-site retreats: You can add on services with one of my trusted collaborators. They can do things like provide home cooked meals, set you up for meals and liquids during your festival, purchase your groceries, run errands
